This is due to the fact that the puff ink additive alters various hues in various ways. But lighter Pantone colors are typically simpler to match than darker colors.
Puff Print Maintenance
Cotton, polyester, and cotton/poly mixes are all suitable materials for puff printing. It has a transparent, opaque look, and can be made to match any Pantone color. If you want your puff prints to endure, turn your shirts inside out and dry them flat to prevent cracking.
