Neck Labels & Retail Finishing

Tag removal, printed neck labels, size tags, folding and bagging — the services that turn a printed blank into a retail-ready product your customer can put straight on a shelf.

Why finishing is where private label brands are won

Anyone can print a shirt. What separates a real private label product from a decorated blank is what happens after the press: the manufacturer tag is gone, your brand is in the collar, the size is printed where a buyer expects it, and every piece arrives folded and bagged, ready for the shelf or the shipping station. Retailers notice. Customers notice. And resellers who offer it win accounts that shops without finishing capability cannot touch.

What we do

Tag removal and printed neck labels

We remove or print over the manufacturer tag and screen print your label directly into the collar: brand logo, size, fabric content, country of origin, care instructions. Printed labels never itch, never fall off in the wash, and make the garment fully yours — there is no trace of the blank brand your customer could look up and price-check.

Printed size tags

Exterior size indicators printed at the collar or hem so staff can find sizes in a stack without unfolding anything. Full detail on our size tag service.

Folding and polybagging

Every piece folded to a consistent footprint and individually bagged. If your product goes into a subscription box, a retail shelf, or straight to a fulfillment center, this is the difference between receiving inventory and receiving a pile of shirts.

Blind shipping

Finished goods ship to you or blind to your customer or warehouse with nothing identifying our shop. Standard on every contract order.

One roof matters here. Finishing is priced and scheduled as part of the print run — the same crew that prints your garments relabels, folds, and bags them. No second vendor, no re-shipping inventory across town, no finger-pointing when something is late.

Who uses retail finishing

  • Private label apparel brands that need the blank manufacturer invisible and their own brand in the collar.
  • Resellers and online stores shipping direct to consumers, where presentation is the product.
  • Distributors delivering corporate programs that need to arrive boxed, bagged, and sorted by size.
  • Brands sending inventory to fulfillment centers, where polybagged, labeled units are a receiving requirement, not a nicety.

How it works

Finishing is quoted per piece alongside your print or embroidery quote. Send us your label artwork once and it stays on file like the rest of your specs, so reorders come back identical. Neck label art follows the same rules as any print: vector preferred, and we will flag anything that will not print cleanly at label size before we run it. Not printing with us? Ask anyway — depending on the season we take finishing-only work.

Common questions

Can you remove tags from any garment?

Most, yes. Tear-away tags remove cleanly. Sewn-in tags on some garments leave stitching we will point out before we commit. We check your specific blank and tell you what the collar will look like.

What goes in a neck label?

Legally, US-sold apparel needs fiber content, country of origin, and care instructions (or care symbols). Practically, brands add their logo and the size. We will fit all of it in a clean one or two color print.

Is there a minimum?

Finishing runs with our standard order minimums — 24 pieces for screen printed work. For label-only or bagging-only jobs, call and we will look at the schedule.

Does finishing slow down my order?

Planned with the job, it adds little to nothing to the standard 7 to 10 day turnaround. Added after the run has shipped, it means re-handling every piece, so tell us upfront.
